ESPN is the home of the champions, broadcasting the regular and championship seasons for all 24 NCAA women’s and men’s sports across its networks. It’s a daunting job that was in need of a sleek, versatile, and, most importantly, streamlined graphics package.
We employed a combination of 2D and 3D movement to create depth and dimension without bogging down the production workflow. Match cuts keep the energy up, and refracted elements inspired by the enameled glass logo tie everything together. The graphics are all customizable per sport by simply swapping text, imagery, and NCAA sport icons.
